1. Who we are

This website (elefai.com) and the Elefai family of business software — Elefai Foodie, Elefai Retail, Elefai HRMS, Elefai Asset, Elefai Ledger, Elefai Verify, Elefai AuditSafe Pro, and Elefai Society — are products of Startegix Consulting, Lakdikapool, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("Elefai", "we", "us", "our").

This policy explains what information we collect when you visit elefai.com, request a demo, submit the contact form, or use the on-site chat assistant, and what choices you have about it. If you are an existing customer using one of our products, additional terms in your service agreement may apply to data processed within that product.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you give us directly — when you submit the demo request or contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, city, country, and any message you include.
• Information collected automatically — standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring page, collected via cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & analytics below).
• Information from the on-site chat assistant — if you use our website chat assistant, we store your messages, the page you were on, and basic technical details (IP address, browser) so we can respond and improve the assistant.

We do not collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, financial account, or government ID data) through this website, and we ask that you not include such information in the contact form or chat.

3. Cookies & analytics

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage to run this site and understand how it's used:

• Essential cookies — required for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie preference). These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate visitor behaviour and improve the site. These only run if you accept them in the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

We use Google's Consent Mode, which keeps analytics storage switched off by default until you actively accept. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page, which will show the banner again.

4. How we use your information

• To respond to demo requests and enquiries, and to follow up by email, phone, or WhatsApp
• To maintain a record of prospective and existing customers in our internal CRM
• To operate and improve the on-site chat assistant
• To understand aggregate site usage and improve content and navigation (only with analytics consent)
• To meet legal, accounting, or security obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell your personal information.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who process it on our behalf — our own internally hosted CRM system, and Google (for analytics, under Google's own privacy terms)
• Internal team notifications — a new enquiry may trigger an internal alert to our sales team so we can respond quickly
• Legal or regulatory authorities — only where required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Chat assistant conversations are kept to improve support quality and can be deleted on request. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Contact us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information submitted through this site, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls restricting who within our team can view enquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw analytics consent at any time. This includes rights available to you under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children's privacy

This website and our products are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
